SenseAbility Gym Day at Blackstone Valley Ice Arena

Blackstone Valley Ice Arena is opening its doors and rink to SenseAbility Gym families and friends.  Join us for a free skate on Saturday, April 12th from 3pm-4pm.  Bring the whole family and learn more about their United We Sk8 program and the Blackstone Valley Bulldogs – their adaptive learn to skate and hockey leagues.

BVIA is generously donating this ice time in honor of April as Autism Awareness Month.

Sensory Based Social Skills Class Starting April 7, 2014

Apr_May_2014 Sensory Social Skills Class-page-001Join our upcoming social skills class! Children will work on social awareness with their peers through sensory-focused activities.

When: Mondays, 4:30-5:30 pm, on April 7, 14 and 28, and May 5, 12 and 19
Where: SenseAbility Gym, 8 Charlesview Road, Hopedale
Who: Girls and Boys, Ages 7-10
Cost: $90 per child for the 6-week session
Instructor: Kellie Nashawaty, OTR/L

Children may participate independently, or with the assistance of a parent. We ask that parents remain on the premises during the classes.

Everything you wanted to know about Special Needs Trusts but were afraid to ask!

Attorney Elizabeth Myska, J.D., L.L.M will present an overview of special needs trusts and how it could benefit you, your child and your family.

This informal presentation is for any parent or guardian with a special needs child in their lives and is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
